World No. 1 woman’s golfer
Lorena Ochoa of Mexico is on a tear. Lorena Ochoa has in fact won 6 of the 12 LPGA tour events this 2008, and is truly showing why she is the number one woman golfer in the world.
Former world no. 1 Annika Sorenstam of Sweden would’ve given Lorena Ochoa some stiff competition, but Annika Sorenstam has already announced her retirement from the sport of golf in order to focus on her personal life. Besides, Annika Sorenstam has had a constant battle with back pains that kept her away from the LPGA Tour last year.
Of course, there are still other golfers who will pose a threat to the reign of Lorena Ochoa, such as Paula Creamer, Yani Tseng and Jeong Jang, who are some of the top 3 points earners for the LPGA Playoffs, which will culminate at the ADT Championship.
However, if you want to bet on golf, then your best bet would be to wager on Lorena Ochoa as her consistency and dominance in the LPGA Tour will certainly bring a sure profit.
The next golf tournament on the LPGA Tour will be the 2008 Corning Classic, where Lorena Ochoa will be expected to compete against the top 32 woman golfers. Certainly, Lorena Ochoa is a favorite to win the event, especially after winning the recent LPGA Sybase Classic.
Bet on the LPGA Tour. Bet on Lorena Ochoa to win the 2008 Corning Classic.
